Minnesota Dance Theatre an Earth Day dance performance
Wednesday, April 22, 11:00am
Hennepin Center for the Arts 528 Hennepin Ave, 6th floor, Minneapolis
In a celebration of two kinds of mothers -- You and Mother Earth -- the amazing dancers at Minnesota Dance Theatre (MDT) will fill the studio with their kinetic energy as they perform excerpts from Sacre du Printemps (Rites of Spring) and other pieces that will nurture your own motherly nature.
MDT is renowned as one of Minnesota's cultural treasures with an eclectic international voice performing "dance that dares." Their movement will energize You -- and there will be space for your dancers-in-training to practice the steps they see if it moves them.
- The 45 minute performance will begin at 11:00 am. As a bonus, you're invited to watch the dancers in their pre-performance class/warm-up from 10:30-11am.
- If you pre-register, cost of the performance is $15/adult (as always, kids are free.)
